AIE-PK played a pivotal role in bolstering the structural reliability of Thal Engineering’s Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) situated in the bustling Port Qasim area of Karachi. Our mission was to rigorously assess the existing structural integrity of these buildings, a crucial step to ascertain their capacity to support additional loads from solar panels while enduring the challenging environmental conditions of exposure B & C for wind, in addition to their own gravitational loads. Our scope of services was multifaceted, comprising two key stages: the initial Structure Strength Survey (Stage 1) to comprehensively evaluate the buildings’ existing structural strength, followed by the implementation of Remedial Measures (Stage 2) to reinforce and ensure their ability to meet the enhanced demands placed upon them. This project epitomized our commitment to engineering excellence and safety assurance, aligning seamlessly with Thal Engineering’s dedication to sustainable and resilient infrastructure.
